HSD P7
Compared with an OSB/3 board of the same thickness class (13–20 mm), HSD P7 has more than twice the internal bond strength (0,70 versus 0,32 N/mm²), half the swelling (7 % versus 15 %) and a considerably higher modulus of elasticity (4000 versus 3500 N/mm² in the major axis, or 1400 N/mm² in the minor axis). With HSD P7 there is no distinction between a major and a minor axis, so there is no loss of material due to board orientation.
Accredited air permeability testing to EN 12114 (VVÚD Praha, report MVZ-A-2025-003748) measured a value of only 0,044 m³/(m²·h) at a pressure difference of 50 Pa, which makes HSD P7 an exceptionally airtight board for the building envelope. At the same time the board remains vapour-open: to EN ISO 12572 (ITC Praha, report 25/T053) the water vapour diffusion resistance factor is μ = 148,7, or an equivalent air layer thickness of sd = 2,27 m at a thickness of 15 mm.
Formaldehyde emission meets class E1 to EN 312, but also the stricter E1-LE requirements to ChemVerbotsV (≤ 0,05 ppm), EPA TSCA Title VI and IKEA IOS-MAT-0003, so the board is also suitable for interior applications and furniture manufacturing.
Class P7 to EN 312
Three-layer structure
High load capacity
Airtight yet vapour-open

Additional features
Minimal swelling
Thickness swelling after 24 hours is only 7 %, half that of OSB/3 boards (15 %), which makes the board reliable in the humid conditions of a building site.
Moisture-resistant adhesive
Internal bond strength after boiling to EN 1087-1 retains 0,23–0,25 N/mm², confirming the durability of the glued bond in a humid environment.
No axis distinction
Mechanical properties are identical in both directions of the board, so there is no need to distinguish a major and a minor axis as with OSB boards — better material utilisation and faster installation.
Airtightness of the envelope
The measured 0,044 m³/(m²·h) at 50 Pa (accredited EN 12114 testing) allows the board to be used as an airtight layer in structures.
Vapour-open
μ = 148,7 or sd = 2,27 m at 15 mm (EN ISO 12572) — the structure remains vapour-permeable and safe from moisture accumulation.
Low formaldehyde emission
Class E1 to EN 312 and E1-LE to ChemVerbotsV (≤ 0,05 ppm), together with compliance with EPA TSCA Title VI and IKEA IOS-MAT-0003.
Sanded surface
Standard sanding with a K80 grit gives a flat and precise surface ready for further processing and cladding.
Certified production
Factory production control certificate no. 1393-CPR-1469 (system 2+) to EN 13986:2004+A1:2015, issued by notified body no. 1393 (VVÚD Praha).
